Gluten Free Eating! Are You Having Challenges?
Over the past few weeks I have been sharing some of the gluten free eating we do in our home. Many of the meals have gotten really great attention on my Facebook page and in comments! This has me to thinking if you are being challenged with living gluten free?
Is your gluten free eating such a challenge for you that you simply give up? Or are you finding options that allow you to feel great? Because I know it can be very frustrating in gluten free eating. For me it has really taken quite a long time for me to get to the point where I feel great after eating in my week. How about you?
What I have found in the journey of gluten free eating is sometimes a simply ingredient that we might overlook can be the cause of poor feelings after a meal. Have you found that?
Over the past few weeks I have started to eliminate some of the ingredients that I really do enjoy, like garlic and onions. I can not tell you specifically why not eating these ingredients is helping me to feel better in my gluten free eating but they are! So much better it is amazing.
I have also found that eating real food at home is a big, big helper in the feeling so much more vibrant in my gluten free eating. So much so that I have found a great joy in eating at home.
Here is a meal we had the other day that has some awesome flavors, almost french fries and veggies. Now remember it is really important to eat organic whenever possible especially white potato, and bok choy. Your meats are best pastured and grass fed.
By eating meals that are real food with no ingredient labels and a very short freshness span, cooking in your own kitchen it really does make gluten free eating much easier and healthier, oh yeah and so, so much tastier!
