“It sounds counter-intuitive. You have to spend time exercising. But, research has shown that exercise boosts cognitive function, creativity, problem solving and productivity. In fact a NASA study showed employees who exercised daily worked at 100% efficiency after 7 hours, while those who didn’t saw a 50% drop, meaning it took them twice as long to accomplish the same thing.  So, exercise, in effect, creates time.” “Lifehacker”

Exercising is essential but it becomes a chore when you consider doing it separately. It becomes easier when it is integrated in daily activities. Good one

Building a good exercise habit can be overwhelming for people who are inactive or out of shape. What helped me was to start small with two 20-minute exercise sessions per week and gradually build on that over several months. I’m still not exercising every day, especially if something disrupts my routine. But now at least I look forward to exercise rather than dreading it!

Those are some great ideas for getting some exercise. All it takes is a little creativity and working with your schedule. Anyone can do any of those that you listed…no excuses!!!
I walk to my errands, park a little far to the stores that I do drive to, stretch and take exercise breaks every once in a while. There’s no way I can stay in my chair for 8 hours straight! 🙂 Moving is so vital to our physical and mental health! Thanks Wendy!

Making sure to get up and walk around for five minutes every hour has been the big one for me. I also make sure to get a nice long brisk walk in once a day.

I love exercising, and with kids it can be a challenge to fit it in. But your everyday tips are really useful for that so thanks.
