Meditation for Healing
Do you practice meditation for healing? Have you heard of the many benefits there are when you meditate for healing? Over the past 20 or so years I have heard about how wonderful it is to practice meditation. Yet do you think this was something I could do? No!
Well about 4 months ago it just came to me one day that meditation for healing was something I needed to put into practice daily. I had no idea how I was going to do this successfully because it was never a positive experience in the past.
So what did I do? I went to YouTube and put in the search guided meditation for healing and health. After experimenting with a number of different meditations I found this one below. Now I am in no way an expert on mediation. What I feel is it is best for me to take a half hour and do a quided mediation where I focus my mind and practice breathing than not do it at all.
So I started to listen to the meditation for healing a few times a week. When I started there was a great deal of stress in my life, probably more than usual. I really didn’t know what the results were going to be and if I would even realize changes in how I would feel. What I can share is I simply feel calmer. More positive. More relaxed most of the time. It has been very exciting to experience this and this is the reason I wanted to share it today.
You see I have learned that meditation for healing has so many benefits I would not be able to list them all here however there really are three main areas where meditation can help:
- Physiological – benefit – improves breathing and oxygen intake
- Psychological – benefit – calms the mind
- Spiritual – benefit – body, mind, spirit in harmony
Here is the guided meditation for healing that I have been doing and find it very powerful. If you are like me and felt that you could benefit from meditation and yet never have found how to succeed at it this may help you.
Now here is the challenge for! Use this video or find one that you feel is more suited to you and take the next 30 days to practice meditation for healing. Take notice over the next 30 days if you do see changes for yourself in the three areas of your life that meditation for healing is meant to help – Physiological, Psychological, Spiritual.
