Remove Toxins From the Body!

Today I wanremove toxins from the bodyt to talk about why you must remove toxins from the body for your best healthy life.   The other day I did a post about the idea of choosing health.    So more about this today.

On the journey to being healthier, we must begin to think about why we want to remove toxins from the body.  Here is the reason why it is important.

“Do you realize that only 5% of cancers are hereditary?  The other 95% are stimulated by environment influences!” Fran Drescher explains at the beginning of a video I watched years ago.

The toxic environmental influences are:

What we put into our body.

  • What we eat – food, medications, vitamins, toxic chemicals both in our homes and industry
  • What we drink – water, caffeine, alcohol, sugar, toxic chemicals

What we put on our body.

  • Personal Care Products – creams, lotions, deodorants, cosmetics
  • Laundry Soap residuals on the clothes
  • Perfumes
  • Plastics

What we put in our homes.

  • Toxic cleaning products
  • Renovation products – flooring, carpets, paints, etc

All of these environmental influences build up in the body and therefore we must remove the toxins from the body to begin to build health.

Remove Toxins From Your Body! Some very interesting points in this video:

Some basic solutions that we can do each and every day to remove toxins from the body would be:

  • Eat Real Food – eliminate processed foods from the diet, eat real, locally grown and organic is best
  • Drink Clean Water – the definition of water is clear, colorless, odorless, tasteless
  • Use Personal Care Products that contain as few chemicals as possible or Certified Organic products, Natural products
  • Use Natural Home Cleaning Products – using items like vinegar, baking soda can be good places to start
  • Use NonPerfumed Natural Laundry Soaps and Stop Using the Dryer Sheets!  – there are many nonperfumed soaps on the market today
  • If renovating your home use more natural products when possible
  • Exercise –

At this point, you may be a bit overwhelmed!  I totally get it.  For me, I have made many of these changes and they have been happening over the past 15 years.  To begin to remove toxins from the body pick the one thing you can do successfully today ( drink more clean water, eat 1 extra Real Food Meal a day, exercise more days of the week) and start there.  Once you have succeeded at that one thing choose another one thing and do that until you are successful.  Rinse, Repeat.

Here are some resources that I use:

Certified Organic Personal Care Products

Gluten Free Vitamins

Exercise with TT Bodyweight Cardio

I am gradually modifying my habits to honor my body/health. Thus far, I only buy organic foods, eat very little meat, mindful of the products I use on my body. I also detox my body via a cleanse approximately once per quarter. There is much more to do, of course.

Thanks for very useful tips. Last week I spent without eating wheat products, not that I am intolerant but I’d noticed that I eat too much bread and pasta and wanted to change my diet.
Great video and article, it made me think what products I use for my home cleaning.
going to revisit my purchase habits.

My pleasure Inga! Good for you in noticing your wheat intake. Let me know if I can help with your home cleaning products.

That is a shocking fact! I knew that most cancer is from outside sources, but didn’t realize that it could be as much as 95%. That is scary. I am glad to see that I already do many of the things you listed. There are, thought some that I could be doing more of or need to start. I am always checking labels and buying those with the least amount of chemicals if there is no organic choice. I never thought about detergent!
    Thanks Wendy

    Hi Wendy

That’s very true. I just lost a very dear partner who, with hindsight, had contracted cancer many years ago. He was a vegetarian, non-smoker, and drank very little alcohol. But his business was working with metals.

It makes complete sense to avoid toxic minerals as much as possible, and to take an Analysis of the minerals to which you have been exposed.

Sorry to hear about your partner! Yes avoiding toxic materials would be important and the more I am learning from you on Hair Mineral Analysis the more I see how useful it can be. Thanks for connecting.

WOW, I had no idea the ratio of environmental cancer causes was so high compared to hereditary factors. Does that mean that I don’t have to get a colonoscopy just because my Dad had colon cancer, if I’m eating and living “clean”?? Great post, Wendy!

Thanks for connecting Amy! Since I am not a Doctor it would be my suggestion to have that discussion with your primary care giver for your good health.

Oh gosh, such a harsh reminder! I toally forget about all those environmental influences you’ve listed above… Thanks for the tips provided as solutions – great stuff!

I know right! So many environmental factors. Thanks for connecting and glad that I was able to provide that reminder.

Well said. You’ve shown people how they can achieve your recommendations. I’m proud to say I follow them already.

Removing both of your breasts to prevent getting cancer that you may never get, seems a little extreme to me.

I gotta start thinking healthy choices.. and doing them!

Yes I agree. What is the one thing for sure you can do starting today? Do that! Let me know if I can help. Thanks for connecting. Wendy
