Successful Outcomes One Focus At A Time!
How do you have successful outcomes? One focus at a time! There is no other way to achieve your health, wellness, fitness, business or lifestyle goals but to focus on one goal at a time. Now some may not even call them goals today. It may be your to do list, dream list or whatever else you want to name it. The end result is the outcome.
For me having or creating successes makes me feel like I am moving forward in life. Doesn’t matter what area I am focusing on, if I have the one focus at a time I know I will get there, achieve it.
How to have successful outcomes?
There are a few things you must do to achieve. First and foremost you must believe in your goal/dream. It must be a priority for you! Don’t let any failure on the road to your goal/dream deter you. Don’t stop believing in what you really want. Make your focus as narrow as possible to one idea. Plant the seed for your idea. Be sure you water that seed daily, with care. Never allow anyone to get in the way.
So let me give you my example of something I have done for myself remembering my focus is to live with good health. I have made many changes in my diet, fitness, thinking, weight over the past 15 years and I was stuck in February of 2012 I was not feeling that great. With my one focus of better health I was now looking for a way to change the way I was feeling, low energy, lethargic and carrying way too much weight that would simply not come off no matter what I did. It was at this time that I was listening to Dr. Tom O’Bryan at The Paleo Summit and he said one thing that changed everything for me. He said and I am paraphrasing, if you have a difficult time breathing going up stairs you have an issue with gluten! Now this was me and I could not figure it out for years. I exercise, ride my bike long distance, and yet I could barely climb the stairs without huffing and puffing. It was crazy. So it was that day with a one focus commitment that I began the experiment to eliminate gluten, wheat and grains from my diet for 30 days. It has not been almost 2 and 1/2 years that I have been free of these foods and I feel great.
The successful outcome came as a result of my one focus at a time. There are many times when I go out and people simply can not understand how I wont’ eat certain foods. Or they think I am to strict with my focus. They feel I should lighten up a bit. And it is because of the one focus that I feel good today.
In my opinion eating foods that don’t take you toward feeling great is no a positive for me and I simply won’t allow it. My one focus is to live with good health. I made that commitment to myself many years ago and with my one focus I can now see the successful outcomes of that goal! I have never given up on that desire, kept going even when I was not feeling great and you can do the same!
What are your successful outcomes? Feel healthier, lose weight, have more energy, eliminate process foods, eliminate gluten, wheat and grains, drink more water or maybe something more personal for you?
How have you created successful outcomes? Do you focus on one thing at a time to achieve your desired goals/dreams or are you struggling because you are all over the place? Changing your diet every other week?
