Wheat stimulates appetite!
A few days ago I did a blog post titled Gluten just might be the problem! There seems to be a bit of confusion on the problems with eating wheat, grains and gluten. Today I simply will share a quick video by Dr. Davis, author of the Wheat Belly, explaining why wheat stimulates appetite and more!
For me personally removing wheat, grains and gluten and has been a game changer! In a few short weeks I began to feel like a different person and over the past year my weight has reduced by 25 lbs without thinking about diet, going without like many do when “dieting.”
Dr. Davis author of Wheat Belly discusses why “eat more healthy whole grains” is the biggest nutritional blunder made on a national scale–and why eliminating it is among the most powerful strategies he’s ever witnessed for losing substantial weight and reversing numerous health conditions.
Wheat Belly: Lose the wheat lose the weight. Did you know that eating two slices of whole wheat bread can increase your blood sugar more than 2 tablespoons of pure sugar?
In this short 2 minute 28 second intro you will hear how Dr. Davis explain , the compounds found in wheat are responsible for appetite stimulation, rises in blood sugar, as well as the release of endorphin-like chemicals that get the brain hooked on breads, pastas and crackers, while increased wheat consumption can also be linked to higher incidences of celiac disease, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and schizophrenia.
Ok hope that helps!
