Why Is Being Consistent Important For Health?

My question today is, why is being consistent important when it comes to health, wellness, and fitness?  The reason I am curious on this topicwhy is being consistent important is because today as I was cruising my Facebook page I came across a picture that said: “

The secret to success is a consistency of purpose.” – Benjamin Disraeli

So, My question today is, why is being consistent important when it comes to health, wellness, and fitness?

In business, this is such an important aspect that every “GURU” teaches.  Be consistent! Make the calls every day!  Build relationships every day! Be consistent in your blogging and Social Media!  Every aspect of business it is vital to growth to be consistent, true?

Yet I have never heard entrepreneurs say they have to be consistent with their health, wellness, and fitness for a better business. And most don’t say it about their life until they don’t have their health.

I have heard entrepreneurs say they are not into health, wellness or fitness!  Do you know that exercise will help you to think better! Check out this article, HERE  Thinking better is good for business, right?

The same will hold true for eating well (real foods, organic is best, locally is good), drinking water is so important and we can’t forget about getting a good nights sleep.

So, why is being consistent important when it comes to your health?

If you are consistent with your health plan what other areas of life will that benefit for you?

What is one thing you can get consistent at starting today?  We know that to make a habit we must do that thing for at least 30 days.  So why is being consistent important and what will you begin to do today?  Make it a winnable!

For example, a couple of ideas to be consistent:

  • If you are not doing any kind of exercise plan for the next 30 days to get up from your desk at least once an hour and move for 5 minutes.
  • Begin to add water to your day – before you eat breakfast drink a glass of water, mid morning drink a glass of water, a lunch drink a glass of water, mid-afternoon glass of water, at dinner glass of water, before bed glass of water – That is 7 glasses of water!

Would be great to hear your answer to the question why is being consistent important.

Talk soon,

The 27 Habits – By Tyler Bramlett – How I learned The 27 Most Powerful Body Transformation Habits That I’m Gonna Teach You! You and I both know that there are plenty of diet and exercise books on the market. This is NOT one of them! Not even close… Instead, this book will teach you the 27 habits that I have identified are the most powerful habits you can form if you want to permanently change your body and life.

In fact, only 4 of the 27 habits have anything to do with diet and exercise. The other 23 are made up of the little know “lifestyle hacks” that boost fat loss, jack up your energy and force you to look, feel and perform your best!

I have heard that one of the reasons many don’t exercise is because they don’t know what to do!  Check out Shawna K and her Female Fat Loss Over 40 program.   Simple, don’t need any equipment and can do the exercises anywhere.  You can learn more about it HERE

Nice blog! Being consistant is so important in everything we do. When we merge new exercise and food regimens into our day, it will help us mentally to adapt to the positive changes that they will produce; an example, exercising for a few minutes a day will help you feel better and will help with circulation. The same thing with adding vegetables and other healthy items to you diet, allow yourself time to absorb them and eat them often so your body will benefit from them.

I think you’re right on! It’s easy to think we can rely only on our brains and our fingers. But a person is the sum of our parts. An entrepreneur will find with good diet and exercise they are actually MORE productive than without. I try to walk 3-5 times a week. Does wonders to clear my mind.

Of course being consistent with exercise and diet is important, and I wish more full-time writers cared about their bodies and health.

Thanks for connecting and glad you agree about being consistent! Anyone who sits at a desk would benefit by moving more, standing at their desk for their better health! 🙂

If I drink a glass of water before bed, I’ll have to get up in the middle of the night! 🙂 Part of being consistent is getting to know yourself. Like, don’t drink before bed, it will interrupt my sleep. I take time to observe my reactions and needs. They change some over the years too.

Since being born with a disability my relationship with my body is kind of special. 🙂

Being consistent is the key to success with anything. Especially with health & fitness. I have seen my results when I get lazy with exercise. I have a lot of bad results with that as you can imagine. Even though I may slip when it comes to physical exercise, I am very consistent in other areas. I take my vitamins daily, drink a lot of water daily, and walk to the grocery store weekly. They are simple things, but I have been able to make them a habit.

Excellent work in all that you are doing. I have found a simple way to increase water is drink 1 glass with each meal and snack, 1 when you wake up, 1 prior to bed and 2 during your training session. That will give you your water intake daily. Thanks for dropping by. Let me know if I can help.
